The Golden Jubilee Light and Fireworks Extravaganza at Buckingham Palace was performed before Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the 3rd of June 2002 and viewed live by 1.2 million people in London and by 200 million worldwide on Television.
The event was Produced by Sir Major Michael Parker with Executive Production by Alan Jacobi for Unusual Services Limited. Photos by Louise Stickland
The fireworks were designed by Wilf Scott of PyroVision, the sound was designed by John Del Nero with projection by Ross Ashton of E/T/C UK.
The Son-et-Lumiere utilised 50 searchlights on the Palace roof along side 16 searchlights and some three hundred intelligent and conventional lights in front of the Palace and around the Queen Victoria Monument with lighting and festooning along the entire length of the Mall including the floodlighting of Admiralty Arch.
